Silvia would like to thank Sharon Findlay and Rita Jaques, Labor & Delivery Nurses from Canada, for their lovely work with Dar a Luz in Honduras. Although only in La Ceiba for one week, Rita and Sharon both devoted each day to supporting birthing women in Hospital Atlantida. Upon their departure, they also left a number of donations on behalf of them and their community including medical supplies, educational materials and simple yet essential items to assist birthing women (such as ice packs, mints, hair ties, stress balls, etc).

A special thanks to Ritas father, who generously donated money to the project that helped to produce educational materials, other supplies and cover critical adminsitration costs.

A great big thank to these lovely nurses coming down to Honduras to volunteer during their vacation. They surely made an impact on numerous women in the hospital.
